Week 18 Highlights

 

There were several vintage Walt Disney collectibles that stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, March 7. The Art Corner at Disneyland Animation Kit from sold for $231 after 13 bids, a 1961 101 Dalmatians Playful Melody music sheet sold for $244 after 5 bids, and a 1960 Ten Who Dared sheet music sold for $565 after only 2 bids.

There were several collectibles that stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, April 20. A vintage 1930s Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse tin-litho washtub by Ohio Art sold for $172 after 25 bids, a vintage 1930s Walt Disney Mickey Mouse pencil by Joseph Dixon fetched $230 after 17 bids, and a 2016 McFarlane Toys Assassin’s Creed Agular’s Hidden Blade ended at $355 after 24 bids.

A vintage 1955 Sears Christmas Book sold for $153 after 22 bids, a 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Dopey tin-litho night light sold for $165 after 25 bids, and a 1967 original political art by Hugh Hutton Reflex Action to Any Good Idea sold for $213 after two bids.

There were several collectibles that stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, April 16. A vintage 1939 Walt Disney Donald Duck tin-litho Dime Register Bank sold for $270 after 22 bids, a lot of 8 vintage black and white promotional photos featuring Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and more ended at $406 after nine bids, and a 1996 complete Marvel Masterpieces trading card series five base set by Skybox fetched $510 after 43 bids. A notable by-it-now style listing that sold during last week was a 1940s framed Frank Frazetta original sketch, which was purchased for $1,200.

Marvel Comics 1991 New Mutants #98, graded and slabbed by CGC at an 8.5 VF+, featuring the first appearance of Deadpool, sold for $202 after 27 bids. Vintage 1930s matted original political cartoon by Hugh Hutton ended at $269 after 11 bids. A lot of 10 black and white promotional photographs featuring Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and more, fetched and impressive $1,400 after 41 bids.

One collectibles stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, March 26, a vintage set of blue and red Granbergs Aktiebolag Stockholm No. 201 Swedish playing cards sold for $370 after only 7 bids. A buy it now item of note that sold was a 1984 DC Comics Detective Comics #27 Oreo Cookie giveaway, graded by CBCS at a 9.9 MT sold for $1,000.

Sports memorabilia will include two issues of Ebony Magazine featuring Muhammad Ali on the covers. Week 11 Highlights

There were several collectibles the preformed well during last week’s auction ending Sunday, March 19. Vintage Disney collectibles that stood out included the 1930s Mickey and Minnie Mouse Lionel Handcar toy, that sold for $227 after 11 bids and the 1930s Geo. Borgfeldt Mickey Mouse walker celluloid wind-up toy, which fetched $514 after 15 bids. Other vintage collectibles that stood out were original political cartoon artwork by Gaar Williams Talk About a famine in China that ended at $227.49 after only 4 bids and the 1967 Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens Adelphi Theater concert handbill that sold for $296 after 12 bids.
