Week 3 Highlights

Two pop culture collectibles stood out during last week’s auction ending Sunday, January 22. The first was a vintage 1930s Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse boxed movie Jektor sold for $232 after 13 bids. The second was a 1993 DC Comics Batman Adventures #12, graded and slabbed by CGC at a 8.5 VF+, featuring the first appearance of Harley Quinn fetched $297 after 23 bids.

A 1930s Mickey Mouse nine inch doll from Steiff fetched $237 after eight bids, a 1950 Goyer Coffee Company Tin Can featuring Donald Duck ended at $261 after 15 bids and a 1933 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse First Watch sold for $626 after 25 bids.

A set of 1938 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse birthday candle holders sold for $163 after 20 bids, a gold edition Diamond Select Toys 2007 Star Trek Enterprise NCC-1701 Starship fetched for $365 after 43 bids, and a buy-it-now style listing of a vintage 1957 Disneyland Mickey Mouse camera outfit in original packaging went for $550.

There were many successful items that were purchased during last week’s auction ending on Sunday, November 20. Graphitti Designes hardcover books by Jean Moebius Giraud Moebius 1 and Moebius 2 sold for $224 and $234 after 22 bids each. Vintage 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse lapel pocket watch by Ingersoll sold for $340 after 19 bids. Marvel Comics 1972 Tomb of Dracula #1 graded and slabbed by CGC at a 9.6 NM+ sold for $400 after 2 bids. This weekend Diamond International Galleries added D23 2016 buy-in-now style listing, including the limited edition Destination D 2016 S.E.A. complete eight pin set that sold for $325.

The most successful items that were purchased during last week’s auction ending on Sunday, November 13 included a vintage 1935 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ingersoll watch with original packaging which sold for $163, a vintage 1953 Walt Disney’s Peter Pan complete Orama Bread Label Set that fetched $181, a rare vintage 1935 Buck Rogers pocket watch by Ingraham with original packaging ended at $307, and a vintage 133 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ingersoll electric clock which sold for $361.

Week 44

Popular items that ended in last week’s action on Sunday, October 16, included a Magic Productions 1994 Toy Expo limited edition The Shadow statuette which sold for $125, a vintage 1954 lot of six Enriched Tip-Top Bread sports car trading cards that sold for $126 after 13 bids and a vintage 1938 Ingersoll Walt Disney Enterprises Mickey Mouse lapel pocket watch that fetched for $294 after 19 bids.
