Week 8

 

You will find a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in our weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, February 26. This week’s auction offers a range of vintage products such as a 1954 Fisher Price Stage Lines stagecoach pull toy and music entertainment memorabilia like a 1971 Creedence Clearwater Revival concert poster.  There are also Disney collectibles available, including a 1950s Mickey Mouse Club Auto Magic Picture Gun by Worchester Toy Company.

Last Weeks Highlights

There were several collectibles the preformed well during last week’s auction ending Sunday, February 19. A matted set of two vintage original political cartoons by Jerry Doyle sold for $178 after seven bids. A 2007 Diamond Select Toys Joseph Michael Linsner motion globe prototype featuring Dawn fetched $405 after 12 bids. There was also one buy it now listing of note during last week’s auction is a 2003 Image Comics Invincible #1 graded and slabbed by CGC comics at a 9.6 NM+ which sold for $500.

Week 8 Preview

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run February 19 through February 26. Next week’s variety of collectibles will include a 1975 Marvel Comics X-Men #95 graded and slabbed by CGC at a 9.4 NM, a vintage 1970s Walt Disney’s Disneyland Mickey Mouse pencil sharpener, and a vintage 1940s rare Mickey Mouse trapeze toy. Week 6 Highlights


There were several well preforming Walt Disney collectibles during last week’s auction ending Sunday, February 12. The Disney Store Watch Collectors Club Series IV Walt’s Train limited edition pocket watch sold for $63 after 17 bids and the vintage 1930s Mickey Mouse and Friends shoe box fetched $78 after 8 bids.

Week 7 Preview

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run February 12 through February 19.  There will be more political artwork available, like the Jerry Doyle set of 2 framed political cartoons, and western items such as a vintage 1952 Blue Canadian Rockies Columbia Pictures insert poster featuring Gene Autry. Collectibles currently available for bidding include a limited-edition vintage 1960s Bob Zoell linen-mounted Christmas card print, a vintage 1940s tin litho wind-up Auto Speedway from Automatic Toy Company, and a limited-edition Disney Store Watch Collectors Club Series IV Walt’s Train pocket watch.

Week 5 Highlights

There were several top preforming pop culture collectibles during last week’s auction ending Sunday, February 5. DC Comics Batman Adventures #12, featuring the first appearance of Harley Quinn, graded at a 5.0 VG/FN, sold for $183 after 23 bids. Political artwork dominated this auction, as Eugene Craig’s The Stand-In Again ended at $191 after 5 bids, Charles Werner’s 1960 In God We Trust also sold for $191 after 8 bids, and Reg Manning’s 1952 How the Times Have Changed fetched $256 after 5 bids.

Week 6 Preview

As the current auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run February 5 through February 12.  Collectibles headed to auction include a Disney Store Watch Collectors Club Series IV Walt’s Train limited edition pocket watch, a vintage 1976 Parker Brothers Mickey Mouse Club Song board game board, and 1991 Marvel Comics Spider-Man cufflinks. Week 5

We continue to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in their our eBay auction ending Sunday, February 5.  Vintage items available for bidding currently include a black and white Ted Williams and Babe Ruth framed photograph, autographed by Ted Williams and complete with letter of authenticity, as well as a unused 1955 Walt Disney’s Davy Crockett Rescue Race board game by Gabriel. Comic book collectibles featured this week are a DC Comics Batman Adventures #12 graded at a 5.0 VG/FN, featuring the first appearance of Harley Quinn, as well as a variety of trade paperback Marvel Masterworks, such as The X-Men Volume 4.

 

 

Week 4 Highlights

The top preforming pop culture collectible during last week’s auction ending Sunday, January 29, was a vintage 1948 political cartoon by John F. Knott entitled Plans to Improve Paradise which fetched $256 dollars after 4 bids. There was also a buy-it-now style listing of note in that the Oreo cookies giveaway DC Comics Detective Comics #27, graded and slabbed by CGC at a 9.8 NM/MT sold for $200.
