We continue to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in our weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, October 2.  Vintage items include a lot of five 1950s Range Rider and Dick West bread labels, a 1968 Walt Disney Productions International Merchandise Convention catalog, and a 1971 Swiss Daffy Duck watch by Sheffield. DIG is offering several first appearances and number one comic book issues this week including a third printing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 by Mirage Studios graded at a 5.0 VG/FN, Marvel Premiere #15 graded at a 4.0 VG featuring the first appearance of Iron Fist, and a Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 graded at a 9.0 VF/NM featuring the first appearance of John Constantine/Hellblazer. Popular items that ended in last week’s action on Sunday, September 25included an issue of Uncle Scrooge Adventures #33 signed by Carl Barks, Billy Van  Horn and Geoffrey Blum that ended at $153 after 23 bids. Other items that were a big hit in last week’s auction were a vintage 1970s Walt Disney Donald Duck Disneyland squeaker postcard which sold for $158 after six bids, a lot of four vintage 1930s Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse bubble gum wax wrappers by Gum Ink fetched $221 after 15 bids and a vintage 1941 America the Wonderful pictorial map by Ernest Dudley Chase which sold for $383 after 13 bids.

Vintage items that will become available for bidding include a 1930s Walt Disney’s Elmer Elephant movable celluloid figure, a 1955 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Club Foreign Correspondent black and white photo, and a 1960s Boy Scouts of America Explorer Badge sterling silver ring. Other items in last week’s auction to sell were a vintage 1941 Superman Junior Defense League Bread Premium Card #23 that fetched $117 after 15 bids, a vintage 1970 San Diego’s Golden State Comic-Con souvenir program book that ended at $138 after only 5 bids and a vintage 1973 original comic strip art from Conchy by James Childress which brought in $161 after 6 bids.
