Week 52 Preview

As this auction ends, the next auction will become available for bidding during its week long run December 25 through January 1. In addition to hundreds of graphic novels, collectors can expect some vintage Disney collectibles such as a scare 1940s Mickey Mouse trapeze toy, a 1930s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs metal tray, and Silly Symphonies a Mickey Mouse newspaper comic page from The San Diego Union in 1934. There will also be modern collectibles including a 2014 Diamond Select Toys San Diego Comic Con exclusive Star Trek artist proof Excelsior Starship, a 2007 Cat Studio Cal Ripken Jr. limited edition Hall of Fame commemorative pillow, and a 1996 limited edition Hanna-Barbera Pioneers of Animation The Flintstones Fossil Watch. We continue to offer a diverse selection of pop culture and vintage collectibles in our weekly eBay auction ending Sunday, December 25. Vintage Disney collectibles currently available for bidding include a working 1934 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse pocket watch fob with original packaging and a 1939 complete Pinocchio Circus set with signage. Vintage toys include a 1968 Outer Space Men Colossus Rex the Man from Jupiter action figure and a lot of 1980s G.I. Joe Real American Hero and Cobra action figures. There are comic book issues to bid on as well, such as Crime Must Pay the Penalty #33 by Lev Gleason from 1948, graded at a 3.5 VG, and Fawcett’s golden age Hoppy the Marvel Bunny #5, graded at a 2.5 GD+.

Vintage Walt Disney collectibles stood out in last week’s auction ending Sunday, December 18. A vintage working 1934 Mickey Mouse boxed watch by Ingersoll fetched $222 after 22 bids and an Uncle Scrooge McDuck ceramic bank by Imaizumi Co. ended at $237 after 11 bids. One buy it now item of note that sold during the last auction was a 1994 Toy Expo limited edition The Shadow statuette by Majic Productions, which was purchased for $200.

A 1930s Mickey Mouse nine inch doll from Steiff fetched $237 after eight bids, a 1950 Goyer Coffee Company Tin Can featuring Donald Duck ended at $261 after 15 bids and a 1933 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse First Watch sold for $626 after 25 bids.

There were some very successful items purchased during last week’s auction ending Sunday, December 4. A set of 1938 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse birthday candle holders sold for $163 after 20 bids, a gold edition Diamond Select Toys 2007 Star Trek Enterprise NCC-1701 Starship fetched for $365 after 43 bids, and a buy-it-now style listing of a vintage 1957 Disneyland Mickey Mouse camera outfit in original packaging went for $550.
